I just passed the GED. When will I receive a copy of my diploma and transcript?
Congratulations on passing! You will receive an email right after you pass your final subject with a copy of your e-diploma and e-transcript. These are your official diploma and transcript -- you should download and save these documents for your records. You will need Adobe software (version 6.0 or higher) in order to download the documents.
I need additional copies of my transcript to send to the colleges that I'm applying to. How do I get extra copies?
If you earned your GED in 2014 or later, you can
log in to your kritischemassa.com account to order additional copies of your transcript. If you earned your GED before 2014, select the state in which your took your GED in the drop-down menu above and click "Request Transcripts" to be taken to the corresponding page where you can order additional transcripts.
What is the difference between the diploma and the transcript? What is each used for?
Your diploma is the certificate issued by your state upon completion of the GED indicating that you have earned your high school equivalency. Your transcript is the official record of the GED test subjects that you took and your scores. Many colleges and universities require an applicant to submit a copy of their transcript prior to acceptance and admission.
I placed an order for my transcript, but I haven't received it. What should I do?
Most transcript orders take approximately 1-2 days but may take up to 2 weeks to process and mail out. Please allow sufficient time for processing and shipping. Prior to placing an order, you should confirm that you have the correct recipient / administrator and school address if you are sending the transcript directly to a school.
